It’s not everyday I wander around a cornfield but for this outfit I took it to the fields, mainly for this Free People fuzzy sweater. I actually saw this sweater in Lord and Taylor a couple years ago during my “ugly sweater” phase in high school. It was everything I wanted in a sweater but…sadly my budget wasn’t ready for Free People.
However it was clearly meant to be because I was shopping at the fabulous second hand shop Crossroads Trading Co. in Chicago, and found the gem of an ugly sweater for a fraction of the price! Lucky for me it matches perfectly with my dark Rag and Bone pants and Docle Vita booties. You can’t see it, but my bralette is maroon and matches too. All of it (minus the bralette, it’s an old Aerie one) are linked at the bottom!
Booties are my favorite because they have essentially the same benefits of heels but take twice as long to start hurting my feet. Perfect for campus or the city! The zippers on my pants make it easy to choose the style to match with the booties so that it looks right.
All of my clothes are from past seasons but I managed to find three of the same exact sweater on Ebay! For the other items there are super similar pieces by the same label for each item, listed below:
Sweater: similar (by same label!)
Exact Sweater(s): Ebay
Pants: similar Rag and Bone
Shoes: similar by Dolce Vita
Shirt: similar by Banana Republic (on sale!)
