This Christmas I asked for a lot of books, but one that surprised me under the tree ended up being my first read of 2018. Titled The Alice Network, it’s one of “Reese’s Picks” meaning Reese Witherspoon thinks this book is good and you probably will too. This book spans both World Wars, following the story of a young spy and a pregnant girl looking for answers after the devastation of the second war. Their stories intertwine in the most captivating way, spinning a story that’s impossible to put down. A lot of fact is woven in, making the story that much more exciting. It’s a fascinating, fast-paced book that showcases female strength, companionship, and intelligence. I highly recommend it if you enjoy thrilling plot with enchanting narration.
