It seems crazy that January is already over… 1/12 of 2018 is in the past now! January has been a bit of a whirlwind, full of fun events and weekends as well as challenging classes and projects during the week. Here are some of the products and things I’ve been loving the first month of 2018.
The Greatest Showman Soundtrack
Joe and I saw this one weekend and absolutely loved it. Disclaimer, we are fans of musicals and happy endings and if you’re not then it might not be for you. I’m also a huge Hugh Jackman fan, so this was a super fun and enjoyable movie. The music is super catchy and bold, and I’ve been listening to the songs on repeat ever since we saw it.
Miropure 1.25 Inch Hair Curler
I got this curling iron for Christmas and have been using it a ton this month. It leaves my hair in perfect waves that aren’t too perfect but look put together. The one downside is that they haven’t held for the next day for me, maybe because they’re such loose curls, but the iron is so nice that it only takes 10-15 to curl my hair (and there’s a lot of it).
Rocksbox sent me these cuffs in my box this month and I was instantly obsessed. They’re so bright and fun and match any outfit. I’m not a huge jewelry person so anything I wear has to feel right and be low maintenance, and these certainly fit the bill. Th brow craze continues… to be honest I’ve never really been sure what to do with my brows, and actually have never had them done (again, pretty low maintenance). However after seeings ads for this pencil all over the place I decided to give it a try. I love it so much, it’s the perfect thing that pulls my face together quickly with virtually no effort at all, plus it’s super easy to use which is perfect since I’m pretty inexperienced with make-up.
2018 Planner // 2018 Planner Similar Style
I admit I’m a little overly obsessed with planners (I currently have three). There’s something about the allure of organization that I can’t resist. I’ve really been trying to keep on top of my to-do list this month and my planners have been doing a beautiful job of assisting with that task.
I have no doubt I’ll be bringing all of these favorites into February with me… they’re too good to resist! What are some of your favorite pieces from this month?
