Over the weekend Joe and I stopped in to a local cafe after taking pictures and working up an appetite. I had heard from friends in the area that it was a good place for brunch and I wanted to see for myself. While there was a wait due to us walking in at what looked like peak times, we were given a table relatively quickly. The menu was extensive making choosing a difficult task, as usual for me, but I couldn’t have been happier with my choice (or non-choice). I couldn’t decide between the french toast and pancakes so our waitress nicely allowed me to order a small portion of the french toast to accompany my pancakes… definitely a balanced brunch! The food was absolutely delicious and we were both pleased when we left. If you’re in the Lansing area, Soup Spoon Cafe is worth a stop by.
Just look at how thick and fluffy those pancakes are! We will definitely be going back soon.
