NYC Weekend

I ended my week-long trip to the East Coast in New York City, where Joe met me on Thursday night. Being already exhausted from a week of walking about ten miles a day, I’m surprised we still managed to cover as much ground as we did. We spent loads of time walking through Central Park, including a boat ride that was very entertaining. We had a delicious Italian dinner, explored the Museum of Natural History, spent hours in the 9/11 memorial museum, and visited Tribeca for dinner and dessert. There’s really nothing boring about NYC and the weekend was jam packed and extremely fun, the perfect ending to a lovely trip.

Our first touristy activity was boating in Central Park… a surprisingly cost efficient activity! Also very entertaining and the weather was perfect.

Obligatory Times Square visit. The crowds were intolerable as usual.

You can’t tell, but that’s the Statue of Liberty.

Smoothie bowl obsession continues, and Coco Loco is my new favorite place to kill the craving.

Museum of Natural History highlight. Also the whale. Can’t beat the ocean exhibit.

Coffee shops using the name “Joe,” super common and always necessitates a picture.

Some good advice from the ice cream place. Also some good ice cream.

Last brunch at Le Pain Quotidien, a classic no matter what city you may be in.
