Spring seems to be right around the corner despite lingering chill but I am more than ready to embrace the disappearance of frozen temperatures. While the first flowers appearance has only officially happened in the Trader Joe’s vestibule, I’m wearing my blooms in my wardrobe until the real thing is at my doorstep. I always forget how promising those first resilient daffodils are until they pop up early each year. This bridge mural I found in Brooklyn brings the Spring mood year round, I love the colors which is pretty obvious considering it matched my outfit!
This will be my first spring in New York after what was a relatively mild winter, and I’m excited for so many things including walking to the subway and not rushing to be warmer, shedding some layers and bringing out lighter pieces, and sitting on patios for brunch even if I need a jacket. Spring hasn’t spring yet, but I’m dressing like it has until further notice.
