If you’ve seen my London packing list post, you know I’m quite proud of my having gotten through my week long visit with one carry on. Managing to stay warm through the chilly London rain while looking reasonably put together was a feat I haven’t managed quite as well on even my weekend trips to Michigan. This blouse was on repeat for the formal events I attended (Broadway and a networking brunch) as it is back here in the states. Paired with my favorite J. Crew field jacket and rain booties I was ready for the occasional unexpected shower. Of course I had to pair the look with my new headband that I bought while in London. Combining velvet and pearls on anything is pretty much a guarantee that I’ll love it and this band was no exception.
