In June I finally made my rescheduled return to London (I had planned to go last August but the Delta variant postponed the plans). I left for a week of reuniting with my three best friends who live there, trying to make up for too much lost time. From the food to the sight seeing (Big Ben had been under construction the last two times I went), it was the most perfect trip. Most of it, however, was spent soaking up the company of my much-missed besties. I rotated staying with each of them in London and Manchester before flying to Milan on my sixth day there, where we all eventually ended up for a girls weekend to end the trip with a bang.
Some highlights of the trip in pictures below: delicious brunch at Granger & Co., the Tiffany exhibit with the most dazzling diamonds and window displays, late night lights on the river, my old favorite Daunt books, Circolo Poplare, a few more delicious meals in London and Manchester, including a Russian dinner with my Russian friend. Not pictured: more sight seeing tucked in between good times with friends. Ready to go back at a moment’s notice.
