October is here – and with it a rainy and cold week in NYC that has made return to office that much more difficult. Thank god for order ahead on Starbucks and coworkers who brighten my day. In reality I do love October, especially here in the city. The leaves finally start changing, it’s jacket weather after a long sweaty summer, and the chilling temps make movie nights a necessity rather than a guilty pleasure. I love the fashion and festivity of the upcoming holidays (including & especially Halloween). I’ll be spending this month with minimal travel (only one trip scheduled), enjoying staying in in the city and spending the last enjoyably warmer days outside when I can.
